New Year's Eve at the hotel
Nice hotel with pleasant service, beautifully decorated for Halloween.. big children's playhouse, great breakfast and food. Pleasant service and also the cook. Very nice and clean spaces everywhere.
The possibility to be with a dog, great!
We spent the weekend here with my wife and it was great, I can recommend it.
👍 …
honestly a complete disappointment, considering the staff were very polite and helpful, but it's not their fault for the way the hotel looks, it's just the fault of the poor local businessmen who can't run it. It would be ideal as a museum, as it is one of the oldest hotels in Donovaly.
If you are taller than 185 cm, be careful of your head, you can get hurt in some places, low ceilings (shower room, near the steam sauna).
The concept of wellness is perhaps as old as its owner, a hot tub in a sad environment without the atmosphere of a mountain resort (next to it is a dilapidated kitchen with a sink, etc., like a warehouse) if you want to treat yourself to a hot tub and then a sauna, you can take a nice walk through the corridors and stairs of the hotel from one side to side.
The restaurant has opening hours like a hospital or nursing home, which closes at 8:00 p.m. I don't understand why they don't leave the business to people who know how to do the job. Slovak entrepreneurs, the first thing that comes to their mind is "buy a new car, but don't invest in your own business", and we call it the gypsy mentality.
if you are hot, the heating in your room cannot be regulated, if you are cold, it is the same, you cannot adjust the temperature to your liking. As a final assessment = a hotel that needs to be demolished or given to someone who knows how to run it. windows that can't be opened like a vent because they're too old, a shame for €110 a night.
Well, it's not plump, I don't know why it's called the Sport Hotel, all the other names are probably taken. The wellness area also doesn't deserve to be mentioned, only two out of four saunas; Broken ladle; the steam sauna smelled musty, …
We were not staying here, we were just passing by. We stopped here for a beer on the first day. They also have the local special Urpiner 14° here, which pleased me. The food here is fantastic and for the fact that it is a hotel restaurant …
Yesterday we returned from a long weekend, everything was great, on Saturday there was a barbecue, a fairy tale for the children, we enjoyed it, I praise everything, massage and sugar breeze, api house (we won it in a raffle, and a package …
